Refcat

Cookie policy

Updated October 26, 2026

Refcat uses cookies and browser storage for authentication, preferences and optional usage analytics.

1. Essential storage

Session cookies keep sign-in secure and enable account features. Local storage remembers your language, appearance and analytics choice. Blocking essential cookies may prevent sign-in.

2. Optional analytics

In the application, analytics is off until you allow it in the banner shown after sign-in or in account settings; local identifiers then group consented usage events into sessions for Refcat, Himetrica and OpenReplay. It respects Do Not Track and Global Privacy Control and can be turned off at any time, which clears queued events and local analytics identifiers. The public website sets Google Analytics, Google Ads and Himetrica identifiers only after you accept its cookie banner, which shares the analytics choice with the application; Do Not Track and Global Privacy Control count as a refusal.

3. Browser controls

Your browser lets you inspect, block or delete cookies and local storage. Deleting storage also clears saved preferences.

4. Updates

We publish changes here and revise the date when our technologies change.
