Create an API key in Account → API keys. Start with catalog:read and projects:read. Enable editing or generation only when needed. Copy the key immediately; it is shown once.

Configure your MCP client with the URL and bearer token below. Use the endpoint shown in your account if your installation has another domain. List tools to verify access; invalid or revoked keys must be rejected.

Monthly exports: Free 5, Pro 20, Studio unlimited. Browser, catalog Figma and design system exports share this allowance. Retrying the same authorized attempt does not spend twice. Generation and project writes require their own permissions and quotas.
